Summary:

This book is about a boy who meets a robot in the woods. The robot asked the boy if he wanted to play, so they did. When, they were rolling down a hill, the robot fell on a rock, and the robot's power switched turned off. The boy thought the robot was ill, so the boy took robot home and did all he could to make him feel better. The robot did not respond. Then, the boy's parent opened the door of his room, and did not notice the robot was behind the door. The robot's switched turned on again, while the boy was still sleeping. When, the robot saw the boy sleeping, he thought something was wrong with the boy. So, the robot took the boy to his home. The robot did all he could to make the boy wake up, but when his inventor noticed, he was about to harm the boy, he stopped him. The boy woke up, and they found each other awake, so they hugged. The robot and his inventor then took the boy back to his parents, and they played the following day once again.
