So a girl tries to separate his colors and tries to make him understand his feelings. For every color that the girl separates, the color monster begins to understand one emotion. For instance, the color yellow meant happiness. The color blue meant sadness and loneliness. The color black meant fear and so on. Now, that the color monster understood what each emotion meant, the girl tells him to rest.
