           Summary:

This fiction and inspirational book is about the famous egg, Humpty Dumpty, who begins in sitting on his favorite wall. It was his favorite wall because it was tall and it made him feel close to the birds. However, it did not take long for Humpty Dumpty to have his most famous great fall. This accident changed his life. All the kings-men tried putting Humpty Dumpty back together, but they could not recover him completely. He still had broken pieces on him. From that day on, Humpty Dumpty began being afraid of heights. Everyday, Humpty Dumpty would walk pass the wall he fell, and he tried to get the courage to get back on the wall again. Until one day, Humpty Dumpty got the courage again to climb on the wall, even though he was afraid. His fear did not stop him. Humpty Dumpty climbed on the ladder until he reached to the top of the grand wall. When, Humpty Dumpty reached to the top of the wall, he got so happy and hoped that everyone would remember him as the brave Humpty Dumpty, who got the courage to climb up after the great fall.

Book Evaluation:

1) I would recommend this book to my students because it is a very inspirational story, and most kids would have remembered in hearing about him too. I believe this story gives a very good lesson about what bravery can do.

2) I would recommend this book for the grade level Pre-Kinder to Third grade level.

3) I would use this book in the unit of Science. I would bring an egg into the class and use this as an introduction of the meaning fall. In the end of the story, the famous egg said to have recovered his broken pieces. In order, to verify if this part of the story is an accurate statement, I would speak about the density, the texture, and the size of an egg. I would have them think like little scientists and verify if this theory is true or not. They would have to explain.
